Alleanza Cattolica organizes conferences, meetings and workshops on Christian and natural political culture, and on historical events or news items, interpreting and judging them in the light of the changeless social moral. Among the subjects more often treated there are: Spirituality (Marian spirituality, rosary, eucharistic adoration); History (crusades, Inquisition, Protestantism, French Revolution, liberalism, Vendeen genocide, Socialism, Communism, Nationalsocialism); Social Doctrine and Politics (the social doctrine of the Church, the principles of subsidiarity and solidarity, family, education, private property, divorce); Bioethics (education to love, the meaning of pain and death, contraception, abortion, artificial fertilization, euthanasia). Particular attention is paid to the New Evangelization, to Religious freedom, and to New religious movements. A report of the activities promoted or supported by the association can be regularly found in the magazine Cristianità, in the section "Buona battaglia". It is possible to ask the treatment of specific subjects either sending an e-mail or calling the association’s offices. |
